Ukraine announced early this morning that Russia carried out a drone attack on Kiev. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
Up to 10 drones were destroyed as they approached the city in the area around Kyiv, Sergiy Popko, head of Kyiv's military administration, said on the Telegram messaging app.
He added that full estimates of the size of the attack would be made later today.
Most of central and eastern Ukraine was under an airstrike alert this morning.
