Russian units are entrenched in the village of Borki, Kursk Region, after its capture by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and commander of the "Akhmat" special forces, Major General Apti Alaudinov, to TASS, as quoted by Focus.
According to Major General Alaudinov, the situation in Borki is under control. The settlement has been cleared and reinforcements have already been sent. "The 'Arbat' division worked there. together with the 810th brigade", the commander specified.
On September 16, Monday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of the villages of Uspenovka and Borki in the Kursk Region.
