Israeli Air Force carried out a “large-scale air operation”, striking 120 targets in the southern part of Lebanon within an hour, world agencies reported, citing the Israeli army press service, quoted by BTA.
According to the statement, targets of the strikes were military sites of the Shiite movement “Hezbollah”. Sites of his special forces “Raduan”, as well as his missile forces and intelligence management, were affected, the army said.
„The operation is part of a series of strikes aimed at weakening the command, control and firepower capabilities of “Hezbollah” and assisting the Israeli ground forces in achieving their operational objectives”, the announcement also states.
