Warships of the Russian and Chinese navies conducted anti-submarine missions in the northwest Pacific Ocean as part of a joint patrol in the Asia-Pacific region. This was announced today by the "Interfax" agency, referring to a statement by the press service of the Pacific Fleet of Russia, quoted by BTA.
"A tactical group of warships maneuvered and performed anti-submarine warfare tasks," the statement said.
During the patrol missions, a number of maneuvers and combat training exercises are planned, including anti-submarine warfare and rescue operations at sea. The statement did not specify the schedule of the joint exercises, adds "Interfax".
