The village of Rodnikovi in the Russian Republic of Adygea in the North Caucasus was evacuated this morning due to a fire, caused by a drone attack. This was reported by Reuters, referring to a statement in "Telegram" by the head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, quoted by BTA.
The attack was aimed at the suburbs of the capital of the republic – Maykop city. According to Kumpilov, no one was injured. Near Maykop is the "Hanska" air force base.
Earlier today, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian forces shot down 47 drones overnight over the Kuban region, which includes the Republic of Adygea, according to Russian state news agency RIA.
