A 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit Barton district, northern Turkey today, reported The Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) on the "X" social network. The tremor was registered at 10:16 local and Bulgarian time, quoted by BTA.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the area of the city of Amasra, and its depth was 9 km below the earth's surface. There are no reports of casualties or serious damage at this time.
