The Israeli army said it struck about 280 terrorist targets in Lebanon and Gaza during the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, which lasted from yesterday evening until sunset today, reported France Press, quoted by BTA.
Among the targets struck are underground terrorist infrastructure, weapons depots, military command centers, terrorist cells and other terrorist infrastructure.
At the same time, the Lebanese movement “Hezbollah“ said it attacked the outskirts of Tel Aviv yesterday with a swarm of drones, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the movement.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army has closed access to areas in northern Israel, Reuters quoted BTA as saying, citing a statement from the Israeli forces.
This is done after a security assessment has been performed. People from many areas there were evacuated because of the rocket fire from “Hezbollah” from Lebanon.
The Israeli forces announced that the closed military zone along the border with Lebanon will now also include the areas of the settlements of Zeirat, Shomara, Shutla, Natua and Eben Menashem.
