This is what Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview for the documentary film "MGIMO 80", quoted by TASS.
"Now everyone is hearing about the terrorist attack on Nord Stream, which Europe silently and obediently swallowed. Although it undermined the possibility of development of Germany and to a large extent of other European countries, Lavrov noted, "this terrorist attack made them an appendage of the United States in terms of economy, finance and energy.“
"The times are like this: everyone submits to the hegemon in the hope that he will protect them. “He takes from you, even if you are an ally, only what he needs, and then throws you out spent,”, the minister pointed out. - Everyone understands that this system of international relations, which still contains this extremely negative tendency led by the Anglo-Saxons, has experienced its own. According to him, the West does not want to move to equal relations. “After five centuries of domination by conquering foreign lands, exterminating indigenous populations in North America, Africa and other parts of the world, the West has become accustomed to living through colonial approaches.
