Finland: Sooner or later, NATO and the EU must accept Ukraine

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that there is no need to make a decision on Ukraine's admission to NATO at the moment. He recalled that a country that is in a state of war cannot become a member of NATO.

On October 16, Vladimir Zelensky revealed his plan for resolving the conflict with the Russian Federation. It includes a request for an immediate invitation of Ukraine to NATO. Currently, the bloc includes 32 countries. Finland became the 31st member of NATO, and Sweden - the 32nd. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the West and Kiev should abandon the idea of Ukraine joining NATO.
