First North Korean troops may have already reached front line in Kursk Oblast, quoted from Focus.
As Forbes reports, citing intercepted radio communications of the Russian military, they are secretly transferring North Korean soldiers to areas with a Ukrainian presence in the Kursk region.
Talks intercepted by Ukrainian Military Intelligence (UMI) confirmed that thousands of North Korean troops are beginning to arrive. In one of the conversations, two Russian soldiers discuss a KAMAZ truck driver named Andrey Sveridenko who is stopped at the entrance to Kursk. Several such vehicles were detained by the Russian military police on the highway in the Kursk region, as one of the KAMAZ trucks had a civilian license plate. The fact that the vehicle "was not intended for combat" caused concern among security forces.
The publication notes that the deployment of North Korean forces in Kursk is not reflected in the documents.
"Sveridenko's batch of North Korean soldiers was intended for the Russian Navy's 810th Marine Brigade, which is trying to repel a Ukrainian offensive on the eastern edge of the Kursk Arc near the village of Russkaya Konopelka. Ukrainian drones and artillery are keeping the Russians at bay for now," Forbes writes.
