The Republican candidate for President Donald Trump rejected accusations of fascism.
„They say I am Hitler, a fascist. I'm not a fascist. “I am the opposite of a fascist,” said the Republican, speaking to supporters in Atlanta, Georgia.
On October 23, White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre confirmed that US President Democrat Joe Biden considers his predecessor as head of state a fascist. Former Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley and former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly share the same opinion. Both worked in the Trump administration.
According to The Atlantic magazine, the Republican has said while he was president that he needs absolutely loyal generals, like the ones “that Hitler had”.
The next general election in the United States will be held on November 5.
