Japan's ruling coalition loses absolute majority in lower house of the parliament after Sunday's parliamentary elections, reported France Press, quoted by BTA.

AFP refers to the official election results published today.

According to the agency, the loss of the majority of the ruling coalition means the beginning of a period of political uncertainty in Japan.

Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba's Liberal Democratic Party and its coalition partner "Komeito" together they managed to win 215 seats in the lower house.
