Kamala Harris and Donald Trump continue and today with their pre-election activities, organizing rallies close to each other in Milwaukee, the largest city in the state of Wisconsin, reported France Presse, quoted by BTA.
Popular rapper Cardi B is expected to appear at Harris' rally.
At the same time, Trump is predicted to use the latest gaffe by President Joe Biden, who is said to have called the Republican billionaire's supporters "rubbish".
Wisconsin is a symbol of the unpredictability of this election. The race in the state is so tight that the outcome is expected to hinge on several tens of thousands of votes. The state supported Trump in 2016 and then Biden in 2020, both times winning by less than one percentage point of the vote. In previous elections, victory depended on 21,000 votes, while in the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, the number was 80,000 and 154,000 votes, respectively. These three northern states, known as the “blue wall” of Democrats, have long been seen as key to Democratic success at the federal level.
Eight years ago, however, with the advent of Trump, the situation changed – he won all three states before losing them in the next election. Now every vote counts and the tension continues to rise.
Trump's team has already started spreading on social networks allegations of possible voting irregularities.
„If we can keep fraud to a minimum, we will win a huge victory,” the Republican said last night during an event in Arizona. He called Harris “dumb“ and again claims that the record number of immigrant arrivals during Biden's tenure has led to a surge in crime – a statement that is not confirmed by any statistics, notes AFP.
For his part, Harris said at an event in Las Vegas that Trump is “increasingly unstable, obsessed with revenge” and warned that he aspired to unlimited power.
