The head of Volodymyr Zelenskyi's office, Andriy Yermak, has proposed that aid to Ukraine reach the limits of 2022. of the team of the newly elected US President Donald Trump, but did not meet with an understanding, reports the Ukrainian publication NV, citing its sources.
On December 4, the meeting of the Ukrainian delegation led by Yermak with the future vice president of the USA J. D. Vance and representatives of the incoming White House administration. It was also attended by Trump's future national security adviser Mike Waltz and future US special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg.
„Yermak brought certain proposals there: for help in the borders until 2022, for what we need to conquer, for the entry of Ukraine into NATO, which is generally greeted by the Trumpists very coldly, very negatively, and we should have been ready for such a reaction”, said the political commentator of Radio NV Yulia Zabelina in a video published on the publication's website.
According to her, Ermak also spoke about the current situation at the front, embellishing it.
„The American side was not entirely satisfied with the information they received from Ermak about the current situation at the front. They have the real situation, but they are called a little embellished”, said Zabelina and added that the meeting did not last long.
