John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, told reporters at a briefing that the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are looking into the issue of drones over New Jersey. He noted that US authorities are "taking this issue seriously".
As ABC previously reported, mysterious drones, which are larger than standard hobby drones, have been spotted near important sites, including the military's Picatinny Arsenal (engaged in weapons research and development) in Morris County and US President-elect Donald Trump's golf club in Bedminster.
