Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip are completely unacceptable and extremely condemnable. He noted that Israel has shown no intention to withdraw its troops from northeastern Syria, adding that in his opinion the situation will remain that way for the foreseeable future, quoted by BTA.

The Palestinian Issue

Putin said that a solution to the Palestinian issue can only be achieved by eliminating the root causes of the conflict and stressed that Israel has not implemented UN resolutions on the creation of two states - Israel and Palestine. He expressed the opinion that, unfortunately, Palestine has not yet been created.

Capture of Syrian territories

The Russian president completely condemned the seizure of Syrian territories by Israel, stating that Russia's position on this issue remains unchanged. According to Putin, Israel not only does not plan to withdraw from Syria, but will seek to strengthen its presence in the region.

The military presence of Turkey and other external forces in Syria

Putin expressed understanding for Turkey's intervention in Syria, but stressed that Russia supports respect for international law and the territorial integrity of each country. He added that at the same time, Russia continues to work to ensure peace and security in the region by maintaining its main military bases in Syria.

Russian participation in humanitarian efforts

During his statement, Putin also stressed that Russia is actively participating in humanitarian operations in Syria, using the Hmeimim airbase to deliver aid. In addition, Russia has evacuated 4,000 Iranian fighters via this route.
