A helicopter with rescuers has resumed the search for the An-2 plane that disappeared in Kamchatka.

This was announced by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory Sergey Lebedev on his page in "VKontakte".

"The bad weather has subsided. At 15:15 the plane takes off again for a search. There is visibility. We are waiting for the result“, Lebedev wrote.

Previous searches with the help of aviation were hampered by clouds, heavy snow and wind. Ground rescue team moves to area where An-2 disappeared - minister reports that they received "stable" signal from beacon.

Rescuers have detected a stable signal from a beacon in the search area for the missing An-2 plane in Kamchatka. This was reported by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory Sergey Lebedev on his VKontakte page.

The An-2 plane with two crew members, one passenger and 800 kg of cargo, which took off the day before from the village of Milkovo to the village of Osora in Kamchatka, did not arrive at its destination at the appointed time.
