The NGO “Hostage Aid Worldwide“ announced that it has new evidence confirming that American journalist Austin Tice, who disappeared in Syria in 2012, was alive as of January 2024, BTA reports.
“We have evidence that Austin was alive in January 2024, and we are confident that he is still alive“, said Nizar Zakal, president of “Hostage Aid Worldwide“.
This news creates a new wave of hope in the efforts to find Tice, who has been missing for more than a decade.
The disappearance of Tice remains one of the most complex and disturbing events in modern American journalism and foreign policy.
“Hostage Aid Worldwide“ is an organization with many years of experience in assisting families of kidnapped civilians and working to secure their release. In the case of Austin Tice, the organization is doing everything it can to provide new evidence of his whereabouts while supporting his family's efforts to return him home.
