Syrsky described 2024 as a "difficult test for the armed forces, but they survived and continue to fight".
"Thus, since the beginning of 2024, the total losses of the Russian troops participating in the offensive have already exceeded 421 thousand people killed and wounded. This means that this year the Russians have paid the highest price since the beginning of their invasion of Ukraine," Syrsky said in his message.
"The total losses of the enemy for all this time amount to approximately 785 thousand soldiers".
Syrsky recalled that this year the Unmanned Systems Forces were created, the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles increased 19 times, and the number of destroyed Russian targets increased 3.7 times.
