Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the role of drones in the ongoing war, stating that Ukraine will continue to increase its efforts for large-scale deliveries of unmanned combat systems to the armed forces, Ukrinform reported, specifying that the head of state stated this in a post on the social network "Facebook".
"Drones have become one of the most important tools in the fight against the occupier, both on the front lines and behind enemy positions," Zelensky wrote, pointing out that drones "have already changed the war," BTA specifies.
Drones save lives and compensate for the shortage of other weapons, especially artillery, and thanks to them the Ukrainian army is able to defend the country and inflict losses on enemy forces, the president of Ukraine.
"We will continue to increase our efforts in this direction, because technology can help our country achieve its goals," Zelensky concluded.
