France marks today 10 years since the attack on the Paris office of the satirical magazine "Charlie Hebdo", DPA reported.
French President Emmanuel Macron, several ministers and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo will take part in the commemoration ceremonies.
A total of 17 people were killed in the shooting on January 7, 2015, and in related attacks on a police officer and a kosher supermarket in the following days. The three attackers were killed by security forces.
The attack on "Charlie Hebdo", in which two brothers opened fire on the magazine's editorial office, killed 12 people.
The attack on the satirical publication is believed to have been motivated by its publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
The attacks in Paris in early 2015 marked the beginning of a series of Islamist attacks in France that have killed more than 230 people.
