Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi said on Radio Moldova's La 360 de grade show that he will no longer comment on the statements of Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova, as she “does not represent diplomacy”.
In response, Zakharova said that he clearly has no arguments, and she represents diplomacy based on the truth.
“Behind every word about the situation in Moldova are numbers, facts and direct quotes. If it were different, Popsoi could refute our arguments“, the diplomat wrote on his Telegram channel.
She also noted that the Moldovan authorities must stop the anti-Russian rhetoric, adding that it is based on lies and hatred.
Zakharova stressed that any comment on the situation in Moldova is a response to the anti-Russian rhetoric of the “Chisinau regime“.
