One person was killed and 25 were injured in a nighttime Russian attack with drones and missiles on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia, Reuters reports, citing information from regional authorities, quoted by BTA.
The attack destroyed an energy facility, which led to a power outage for more than 20,000 people and left another 17,000 residents without heating, Zaporizhia region governor Ivan Fedorov said.
Russia continues to carry out regular air strikes on Ukrainian cities located behind the front line. These attacks often target strategic facilities in the country's already weakened energy infrastructure, Reuters notes.
