The Palestinian Islamist movement "Hamas" announced that the next group of Israeli hostages will be released tomorrow, as planned. This announcement was made after a representative of the movement earlier said that the release could be delayed by a day, "Reuters" reported, quoted by BTA.
According to the ceasefire agreement reached this month between Israel and "Hamas", 33 Israeli hostages will be released within the coming weeks. The agreement is an important diplomatic move that could end the 15-month conflict in the Gaza Strip.
In its statement, "Hamas" stressed that the next group of hostages will be released on Saturday. The release will be in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and detainees held by Israel.
