Ukraine currently does not have sufficient military capabilities to quickly liberate all of its territories temporarily occupied by Russia. However, in the future they will inevitably be deoccupied, BTA reports.
This opinion was expressed by Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, on the air of Radio "Svoboda", an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"We understand well that to date we do not have the military capabilities to quickly liberate all of the occupied territories of Ukraine. Therefore, the status of these territories may remain temporarily occupied," the MP said.
Venislavsky stressed that Ukraine will eventually regain these territories.
"Whether by diplomatic or military means, this will become clear in the short, medium or long term," he added.
