The prime ministers of Greece and Israel, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Benjamin Netanyahu, will meet in Jerusalem on March 30, Reuters reported, citing two sources in Greece, BTA reports.
Greek media confirmed the information from Reuters, adding that the main topic of the talks will be the construction of the Greece - Cyprus - Israel electricity interconnector.
The website “Protagon“ emphasizes that Mitsotakis' visit to Israel is an unusual move for a Western leader in the current geopolitical situation. In addition to the electricity connection, the two prime ministers will also discuss hydrocarbon exploration in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The “Vima“ portal also confirms that the most likely scenario for the meeting between Mitsotakis and Netanyahu is that it will take place this Sunday.
