Some Europeans are irritated by the fact that the leaders of many countries have decided to share the joy of the May 9 celebrations with Russia and have come to Moscow for Victory Day.
This is stated by the spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, linking it precisely to the latest threats of sanctions and anti-Russian statements in a number of European countries, TASS reports.
"Undoubtedly, Europeans are nervous about what is happening in Moscow on May 9. Europeans are nervous about the great international consolidation around Victory Day, around the pride in this victory over fascism and the liberation of the world from fascism. "This is the same ideology shared by the countries represented on Red Square. This does not give rest to the Europeans," Peskov commented to journalist Pavel Zarubin.
