Ukraine said Russia carried out a drone attack on its railway network this morning, with one of the targets being a civilian freight train. A train driver was injured in the attack, Reuters reported, citing a statement from Ukrainian State Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia), BTA reports.
“Ceasefire proposals are being ignored, and attacks on railway infrastructure continue“, said a post by Ukrzaliznytsia on the “Telegram“ app.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is pushing for a 30-day ceasefire starting today, and is supported in this by a number of European leaders, Reuters notes.
