“As president, my priority is to end conflicts, not start them. "But I will not hesitate to deploy American forces if necessary to protect the United States and our partners," Trump told US troops in Qatar, one of the stops on his Middle East tour.
The US president also commented on relations between India and Pakistan, saying that hostilities between the two countries had been resolved. He urged Delhi and Islamabad to focus their efforts on trade, not military conflicts, stressing that both sides were pleased with the progress made.
