A tanker linked to the UAE and sailing under the Panamanian flag has been hijacked off the coast of Iran.
This was reported by Reuters, citing British company Ambrey, which specializes in maritime security.
It is noted that the incident occurred 51 nautical miles (94.5 km) northwest of the Iranian port of Jask on the coast of the Gulf of Oman.
According to Ambrey, the ship's crew reported in an emergency radio message that it had been hijacked.
