Fighters from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the "Azov" battalion beat Russian soldiers held in captivity, reported servicemen who returned to their homeland as a result of the exchange agreed in Istanbul.
„The „Azov“ brigade harassed and beat us. "The first day they beat me very badly, they made me memorize some incomprehensible texts and say them in front of the camera," said one of the servicemen.
Another soldier who returned from captivity told about brutal beatings and emphasized that he did not want to remember it.
Yesterday, another 307 soldiers returned from captivity to Russia as part of the exchange with Ukraine. They are scheduled for treatment in Moscow and rehabilitation in the institutions of the Ministry of Defense.
