Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the world last night not to show “weakness“ to Russian leader Vladimir Putin after the phone call between the Russian president and his American counterpart Donald Trump, BTA reported, citing Agence France-Presse.
During the call, Putin warned of an upcoming “retaliatory strike“ to the recent Ukrainian attacks on airports in Russia.
“If the world reacts timidly to Putin's threats, he will interpret this as a desire to turn a blind eye to his actions. "When he feels neither strength nor pressure, but rather weakness, he always commits new crimes," Zelensky wrote on the social network "Ex".
"If world powers do not stop Putin, it means that they share responsibility for his actions," the Ukrainian president added.
