Iran has condemned Israel's actions against a humanitarian aid boat heading to the Gaza Strip with activists from international organizations on board, calling them an "act of piracy". This was reported by Agence France-Presse.
“The attack on this boat is considered a form of piracy under international law“, said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai during his weekly briefing with journalists.
The humanitarian organization “Freedom Flotilla“ assured that the vessel was stopped by Israeli forces in international waters.
