The Battle for Dnipropetrovsk Region! The Survival of All of Ukraine is at Stake - 1

Russian sources report that the Russian army has entered the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Russia is also trying to launch an offensive in the Sumy region. Both the first and second are actually information and psychological operations aimed at creating the impression among Ukrainians and Ukraine's Western allies that the Ukrainian front will soon collapse, that the Dnipropetrovsk region and the city of Dnipro will fall, writes Focus.

"It is not the Dnipropetrovsk region that is at stake, but the further survival of the entire state". This opinion was expressed in an interview with OBOZ.UA by Dmitry Zhmailo, executive director of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation.

"Another goal of the enemy is purely terrorist. However, the objective capabilities of the Russian army are limited. For this reason, it cannot develop a powerful offensive in Sumy region and advance into Kharkiv region. In fact, Russia will be able to maintain the current level of aggression only until the end of this year. In this difficult period for Ukraine, it is extremely important to oppose the Russian ISIS, to resist and save people.

At the same time, he notes that nothing will happen if the Russians enter the Dnipropetrovsk region.

"This will not mean that the Russians will win the war against us, it does not mean that they will win. The evacuation from the front-line areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region was carried out a long time ago. Whether the Russians entered or not - time will tell. There is no confirmation at the moment. We continue to fight. And the main thing for us is not to get carried away by this Russian story about the Dnipropetrovsk region and the failure of our defensive line. For us now it is important to save people, not territories. "It is not the Dnipropetrovsk region that is at stake, but the further survival of our entire country," the expert emphasizes.
