An Australian was fatally shot and another injured in a shooting on the Indonesian island of Bali shortly after midnight on Saturday, local police told media, quoted by Reuters.
"Bali police are searching for two people believed to be involved in the shooting at a villa in Badung regency in the southern part of the tourist island," spokesman Ariasandi said, according to the news website Detik.com.
According to police, Ziwan R., 32, died at the scene, while Sanar G., 35, was seriously injured and taken to intensive care at a hospital, Detik reported.
A witness provided descriptions of two men who fled the scene on two motorcycles. The two were heard speaking English with an Australian accent.
