The presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin, and Donald Trump, had another telephone conversation.
This was announced to journalists by the adviser to the Russian head of state on international affairs, Yuri Ushakov.
The telephone conversation between the Russian and American leaders lasted 50 minutes.
"The conversation lasted about an hour, 50 minutes to be exact. It was meaningful, frank, and most importantly - very useful,", Ushakov said.
Putin told his interlocutor about the progress of the prisoner exchange with Ukraine. He confirmed to Trump Russia's readiness to mediate between Israel and Iran.
The Russian president congratulated the American leader on his 79th birthday.
