A building used by Boeing in Kiev was heavily damaged in a recent large-scale Russian airstrike, Reuters and the Financial Times reported, citing six sources familiar with the matter, News.bg reports.
Russia carried out airstrikes on Kiev early last week, using 315 drones and seven missiles. The attacks also hit other parts of the country, the Ukrainian Air Force said on Tuesday.
The Boeing building was among the targets hit on Sunday evening. The information comes from two Boeing employees, three Ukrainian officials and the head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.
Despite the damage to the building in Kiev, "there are no operational disruptions," said Andriy Koryagin, deputy general director of Boeing's operations in Ukraine.
Another official Boeing spokesman said the American aircraft manufacturer prioritizes the safety and security of its employees, none of whom were injured during the bombing.
Boeing has more than 1,000 employees throughout Ukraine.
