Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made a statement in response to the call of US President Donald Trump, who insisted that Iran "surrender immediately", quoted by Focus.
Khamenei categorically rejected the demand, stating that the Iranian people "never surrender". He warned that the US would suffer colossal damage if it embarked on a military conflict against the Islamic Republic.
„The people of Iran will never bow to pressure or threats. "Any military action against our country will have grave consequences for the United States," Khamenei said in his address.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran over regional security, Iran's nuclear program and growing threats of direct confrontation.
