Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that the city community has provided 1,700 FPV drones (drones with “first-person“ control) to two military formations - the 25th Kiev Brigade and the 27th Pechersk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. This was reported by the “Ukrinform“ agency, BTA reports.
According to Klitschko's publication in “Telegram”, the 25th Kiev Brigade received 700 drones, and the remaining 1,000 were provided to the 27th Pechersk Brigade.
Since the beginning of 2025 Kiev has allocated 95 million hryvnias (approximately 1.45 million euros) from its budget to support the 27th Pechersk Brigade.
Klitschko added that this year the Ukrainian capital has provided the front with over 20,000 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.
