Eight paratroopers injured in hard landing of An-2 in Siberia

Eight people have been injured, two of them in serious condition, after an An-2 plane made a hard landing in the Siberian Russian city of Chita.

This was announced by Oksana Nemakina, Minister of Health of the Zabaikalsky Krai.

„The injured are being taken to the Regional Clinical Hospital. A total of eight people, two of whom, according to the preliminary examination, are in serious condition“, the minister said.

She added that in the next few hours, doctors will examine all the injured.

As previously reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Zabaikalsky Krai, an An-2 plane made a hard landing in the Chita region. The DOSAAF light plane landed near the SNT „Topograph“ 16 minutes after takeoff. There were 10 paratroopers and 1 crew member on board.
