US President Donald Trump has once again intrigued everyone by announcing that he will make a "big statement" about Russia on July 14.
As BILD noted, citing sources in the Ukrainian government, Kiev is awaiting Trump's statement with anxiety.
"We have tried all possible options to convince Trump that Putin does not want peace and will continue the bombing. "I hope Trump has finally understood this," a Ukrainian source told the publication.
The source added that all recent contacts with the Russians clearly show that Putin is not interested in real negotiations.
At the same time, the publication noted that it is still unclear whether Trump will dare to impose strict sanctions against Russia.
"Against this background, Russia is probably preparing for a new major attack. According to sources connected to the Russian military, the Kremlin is considering a plan for an offensive in Ukraine in the second half of the summer," the publication points out.

Recently, the media have been discussing Trump's mood towards Putin. Everyone is racing to say that he is losing patience with his Russian friend. However, world observers have great doubts that Trump will impose devastating sanctions against Russia.

Along with this announcement, he said that the United States would supply weapons to NATO, and the alliance, after paying for them, would be able to transfer them to Ukraine.
