The Syrian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that it held Israel fully responsible for airstrikes in southern Syria and their consequences, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The ministry stressed that the state is determined to protect all its citizens without exception, including members of the Druze minority.
Israeli forces have struck Syrian army positions in the southwest of the country for the second day in a row. Israeli authorities said their goal was to maintain stability in the region and guarantee the security of the Druze community.
