The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved today the appointment of Yulia Sviridenko as the country's new prime minister, "Reuters" reported, citing a post on "Telegram" by opposition lawmaker Oleksiy Honcharenko, BTA reports.
According to him, 262 out of a total of 450 deputies in the unicameral Ukrainian parliament supported Sviridenko's candidacy.
