The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Moscow is "significantly expanding" its list of sanctioned EU representatives in response to the new restrictive measures against Russia that Brussels adopted in May and July this year, BTA reports.
"These are law enforcement officers, state and commercial organizations, citizens of EU member states and a number of other Western countries responsible for providing military assistance to Kiev“, reads a press release published on the website of the Russian diplomatic ministry.
The text states that the sanctioned individuals are accused of involvement in organizing the supply of dual-use products to Ukraine, carrying out activities that undermine the territorial integrity of Russia, imposing a blockade on the movement of Russian ships and goods in the Baltic Sea, etc.
The press release does not mention specific names.
The sanctioned individuals are not allowed to enter the territory of Russia.
