An examination has established that the four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall are sane; they did not suffer from a mental disorder at the time of the crime and were aware of their actions, according to materials in the case, TASS reports.
„Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Mukhamadsobir Faizov and Saidokram Murodali Rachabalizoda did not suffer from a chronic mental disorder, a temporary mental disorder, dementia or any other pathological mental condition that could deprive them of the ability to understand the true nature and social danger of their actions", they write.
The investigation has established the identity of the leaders of the terrorist community, whose members committed the terrorist attack in the concert hall.
"Bekov A. I. and Hikmatov A. M., who are abroad, acted in the interests of the top political leadership of Ukraine“ in order to destabilize the situation in Russia. Since June 1, 2023, they have been preparing members of a terrorist group to carry out terrorist attacks in Moscow and Kaspiysk (which were subsequently prevented), and have involved in criminal activity followers of terrorist ideology who have sworn allegiance to the organization “Vilayat Khorasan“, which is banned in the Russian Federation. Bekov A. I., Hikmatov A. M., unidentified organizers under the pseudonyms Sayfullo, Ahi, acting together as part of by an organized group, in the period from November 1, 2023 to March 5, 2024, acting in the interests of the top political leadership of Ukraine, for material reward, they designated the object of a criminal attack - the concert hall “Crocus City Hall“, the materials indicate.
It follows from them that the terrorist organization created by Bekov and Khikmatov consisted of several structural cells, the purpose of which was to commit serious and especially serious crimes.
The terrorist attack in Crocus was carried out on March 22, 2024. According to the Investigative Committee, 149 people were killed, one person is missing, and 609 people were injured or traumatized to varying degrees. The total damage from the attack amounted to about 6 billion rubles. After the terrorist attack, four perpetrators tried to flee to Ukraine, but were detained in the Bryansk region and taken to Moscow. The defendants in the case, which the military court has begun to consider, are 19 people - both the direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack and their accomplices. The investigation against two organizers and four members of the terrorist organization continues.
