All attempts by the Ukrainian armed forces to cross the Dnieper and land troops in the Kherson region are tests by Western instructors of new military technologies at the cost of the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
In reality, this is impossible, given the open terrain, all boats are sunk when approaching the shore, said the governor of the region Vladimir Saldo in an interview with RIA Novosti.
On the night of July 28, Russian troops prevented an attempt by the Ukrainian armed forces to land on the Tendrivskaya Spit with four boats, inflicting significant losses on them. Later, Russian troops struck a powerful blow at the port of Ochakov, Mykolaiv region, from where the Ukrainian armed forces were trying to land troops on the Tendrivskaya Spit.
„To a greater extent this is a media factor, and to an even greater extent it is due to the unscrupulousness of the English and Polish instructors, who are simply testing some of their new technologies with the lives of those Ukrainian soldiers who are forcibly recruited into the army. That's all. "That is why all attempts to cross the Dnieper are being stopped," Saldo said.
According to him, according to the latest information, "the enemy does not abandon its attempts to land troops and sabotage and reconnaissance groups, for this it uses foreign-made high-speed boats, which sink even when approaching the coast, given the open terrain."
„All these attempts, the training of these people, specialists, are carried out from the nearby Nikolaev region - the port of Ochakov and other places where these sabotage groups, including sea ones, were trained. Intelligence data allowed them to be hit accurately," the governor noted.
Last week, Saldo told RIA Novosti that Ukrainian troops were considering ideas for a large-scale landing off the coast of the Kherson region, as "enemy activity has been registered." along the Black Sea coast in the area of the Tendrovskaya and Kinburnskaya spits. Kherson region is located in the lower reaches of the Dnieper, bordering the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. The Ukrainian side does not recognize the legitimacy of the referendum held in 2022 on the territory's transition to the Russian Federation. Currently, 75% of the Kherson region is under Russian control, and part of the right bank of the Dnieper, including the city of Kherson, is held by Ukrainian troops.
