Helicopter crashes into Mississippi barge, two dead VIDEO

Two people died after a helicopter crashed into a barge on the Mississippi River, FOX 2 News reported, quoted by FOKUS.

According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), a Hughes 369D helicopter collided with power lines above the river and crashed into the barge. The barge then caught fire.

Two people in the helicopter died, according to authorities in Madison County.

There are no reports of injuries on the barge. The river is closed because the power line has fallen into the water.
