US President Donald Trump said it is “very likely“ that a quick second meeting will be held between him, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after the summit in Alaska on Friday, Sky News reported, quoted by Focus.
“There is a very good chance that we will have a second meeting that will be more productive than the first one, because at the first one I will find out where we are and what we are doing“, Trump said, answering questions at the “Kennedy“ Center in Washington.
He specified that such a meeting would not take place if he deemed it inappropriate: “If we don't get the answers we need to get, then there won't be a second meeting.“
It was previously reported that the Trump administration was looking for a location for a trilateral summit involving Russia and Ukraine at the end of next week.
