At least five people were killed and 36 injured in a car bomb attack outside a military base in Colombia, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA, citing authorities.
The attack took place in Cali, in the southwest of the country. The mayor of Colombia's third-largest city, Alejandro Eder, said it was a "narco-terrorist attack".
"A bomb was detonated" near the "Marco Fidel Suarez" air base, on a busy street, police said earlier.
It is not yet clear which group carried out the attack.
In June, a splinter faction of the former Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) guerrilla group - the Central General Staff - claimed responsibility for a series of bombings and shootings in and around Cali that killed seven people - five civilians and two police officers, AFP reported.
