A Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet crashed on its return from a combat mission. The pilot died, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA, citing the Air Force of Ukraine.
They reported on "Telegram" the death of Major Sergiy Bondar, whose plane crashed during a landing approach.
The causes and circumstances of the crash are being clarified.
Ukrainian pilot Maksym Ustimenko died on the night of June 29, when his F-16 fighter jet was damaged while repelling a massive Russian attack with missiles and drones, Ukrinform recalls.
